The Taku is built around softness in a practical shape — an oval top with rounded edges instead of hard corners, sat on a double pedestal base that keeps legs out of the way and the whole thing steady. At 180cm it seats six comfortably, eight at a push. The wood grain surface wipes clean easily, which matters more than it sounds on a table that gets daily use.
